Krispy Remix ft. Mistah Fab

Khia Shine- Krispy (remix ft. Mistah Fab)..... I'm guessing this is not official..but i dunno.

I think Khia Shine is from Memphis...but he's got a song called Stunna Frames. I don't know when the song came out...but part of the hooks goes "I wear my stunna glasses at night"...sound familiar to anyone?

"Messy Slick" Sales Update

The first week sales for the album were only 1,000 (rounded to the nearest 100). Just for that I think I'm gonna have to go out and buy it because it deserves more sales...

I've heard a couple of songs off this so far, and they were pretty good. I'll post my favorite tracks off this and possibly post a review once I have a chance to listen to the whole thing.

Non Bay Major Releases:

Artist: T.I.
Album: T.I. vs. T.I.P.
Label: Grand Hustle/Atlantic
Allmusic.com gave this a 3/5 rating..which is pretty much on point. T.I. doesn't really say much on the album. A few beats slap but nothing amazing, Eminem's verse was disappointing. My favorite track after a couple of listens is the one with Busta Rhymes called "Hurt".

June 2007- Bay Area Hip Hop Month In Review

Highlights:

The Westcoast Vaccine and Messy Slick albums turned out to be solid.

We got new singles from Clyde Carson, San Quinn, and Frontline (Three of the Bay's most popular)

Kafani is on Koch and it seems like Keak is too...but his might just be a distrubution deal.

Lowlights:

No one bought that Turf Talk album.

Things To Look Forward To In July:

I know I said this next month but he got pushed back...Numskull (of the Luniz) is dropping an album.

That's about it...looks like I'm going to be listening to a lot of old music this month.
