Mistah F.A.B. to battle great rappers from other regions

Ok...maybe some of you wont consider these rappers greats...but Joe Budden has a huge following due to his mixtape series, Royce is a beast...I don't know much about Phonte but it seems like he's well respected.

Anyways...Mistah F.A.B. was selected to represent the entire west coast so this is pretty big for him. He's a great freestyler, but not the best battle rapper.

This is taking place in NY....but if anyone goes there and gets video of this...or if someone finds video from this event, I need it... send it to leftcoast415@gmail.com

New Releases for 9/3/07

Not sure if these local albums are actually gonna drop on schedule but...

Artist: Dubee
Title: The Best of Dubee a.k.a. Sugawolf
Label: Thizz

Artists: Sac-Sin, Fed-X, Turf Terminators
Title: Turfed Out Mafia
Label: Diamond Life

As for the non Bay Area Releases...

Artist: Ice Cube
Title: In The Movies
Label: Priority
allmusic.com rating: 4/5
Locatoin: Cali
I think this release is songs that Ice Cube did for soundtracks over the years.

A Keak Da Sneak single that could be bigger than Superhyphy??

Judge for yourself....this is just a radio rip so the quality isn't good....but this has MAJOR potential....best song i've heard from Keak in a long time.

August 2007- Bay Area Hip Hop Month In Review

Highlights:
The Jacka/Ampichino album
Too Short's compilation had a few slaps on it
Bay Area rappers continue getting exposure through that Sweet 16 show on MTV

Lowlights:
Looks like Clyde Carson didn't have permission to use Sean Kingston on the hook of "Doin That" and the new guy who replaced him isn't as good.

Things To Look Forward To In September:
Kafani's album...if it doesn't get pushed back.
A bunch of rap's major artists are dropping...from 50 Cent and Kanye to Twista and Rick Ross
