July 2007- Bay Area Hip Hop Month In Review

Highlights:

Really, the best thing in Bay Area rap this month was that Jacka and Ampichino album. Too bad it's probably gonna be slept on. Hopefully by now people have figured out that Jacka drops nothing but quality.

Lowlights:

We're more than halfway through the year and no Bay Area artist has dropped on a major label...and none of the Bay Area artists who are on major labels have much of a buzz going.

Things to Look forward to in August:

Looks like Federation doesn't have a release date anymore....so the only thing to look forward to this month when it comes to Bay Area Hip Hop is for the month to end.
