Nelly- The Bay
I had heard that Droop-E was gonna have a beat from Droop-E....but I had no clue he was gonna do this with it.
In the first verse, he raps like Spice 1. In verse 2 he raps like Too Short. He finishes it off by rapping like E-40 in the final verse. I've seen mixed reactions about the song so far, but you can't deny that its a good look for the Bay. I wonder if it'll be released as a nationwide single. I hear it was already played on KMEL.

Seriously though, why are you hatin on Nelly for making a song that gives recognition for the Bay Area? No one listens to Hyphy music in a mainstream perspective anyways, and seeing Nelly actually taking time to give homage to our rappers is somewhat of a honor. Be happy that there's actually rappers out there that even know that the Bay Area even exists. Complaining about Nelly just makes the people in the Bay Area sound like picky assholes who can't realize when they're given recognition.
This is like when people used to hate on Clyde Carson for going to Los Angeles to work with The Game. WTF. People in the Bay complain about their rappers not getting any shine, and once the rappers here climb the ladder all the fans wanna hold them back and wanting them to stay in the Bay.

I LOVE this song! Nelly is reppin the Bay to the fullest. Very cool and funny too.
